its Amyan 23rd surprise birthday party!

*This is a delayed post*
venue: TTDI park

It was Amalina Izyan @ Amyan's birthday today-Saturday 25th July 09. Thanks to Shamil for planning the little surprise...and of course for not forgetting me, this little Russian lady is back for her summer hols:)
Anywaysssssssss...we had lotsa fun! i'd packed a dozen of Krispy Kreme since i was in Berjaya earlier with Hani Nadhirah and Yati. oh yea, we had this Volunteer Induction Program for Mercy Malaysia @ the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relation (IDFR) near Jln Wisma Putra, earlier at 10 am today. It was good to be back on track with the Mercy team. Insyaallah i'll be joining one of its mobile clinic, scheduled to be held on 30th july near the Chow Kit area.

Rushed back from Berjaya at about 3.30pm and straight away to TTDI through Penchala Link. only that i realised it only took about 15 mins from my area to TTDI ( on non-traffic days, mind you!). The Curve is not that far after all :)

Right so thats about it. We had fun..enjoying the food..'lepaking' in the park ( god knows when was the last time i visited a park in Malaysia!)..gossiping here and there ( hehe!). Whats more important is for us to get to see each other. Its been a long long time since i've this girly outing thing ( the guys just dont get themselves stuck in between!). and for the fact that all of them are my good friends by all means.

I simply just love it!:)

our teachers are here!

Yesterday was fun!tiring a bit but fun! I went ha-ha, visiting both two towers with our beloved Russian language teachers who are now in Msia. They're here teaching those juniors ( JPA and MARA sponsored) who're coming to Russia in September.

Luckily they're based in Intec, UITM Shah Alam so its easier@ nearer for us in KL to go and take them around.
We took them out for a lunch buffet in Seri Angkasa Restaurant in Kl tower and then to KLCC with only me and maalini since kak ryna and Filzah had something on that evening. They were both very keen to go on that KLCC bridge but i wasnt sure if we're allowed to do so since its already 6pm. Maybe it was they're lucky day i must say ( after me doing some kesian-looking mimics to the security ;p)...we're allowed to go in...and that was the LAST group for the day!
Fuuh!!! so up we went...2 towers in a day!:)

Gaining kilos!

Home-IJN-Lunch break- IJN- Home again.
Thats what i've been doing since 2 weeks ago. i am occupied, even on the weekends. Believe it or not, i've been to all the shopping malls in KL ( minus Bangsar Village) ever since i got back.
As for today, i managed to do some shopping in the famous Ariani Scarf & Shawl. honestly i am quite surprised to see that our people can actually spend about MYR500 on scarfs alone! ( the average pricing for 1 Ariani tudung is about MYR70- Myr299).
Its like buying scarfs from Uk's Tie Rack.
but i just have to agree on their quality.very comfortable and its like one of a kind.

I've been getting around , indulging myself with food also. Those 10-months-craving..i just have to go all out! hahaha.
pfft,,,i just got back from Tgi Fridays in Jln Sultan Ismail about an hour ago. Mocha mud pie, that is.
*Photos updated!*

Will be starting my O&G elective in Selayang Hosp on Monday. Definitely i'll be missing IJN..the short drive from home, few mins away from KLCC and most importantly, the doctors, nurses and their super nice staff. Being the most outstanding Cardiac Centre in the whole of Asia Pacific, i find it hard to believe that their people there are very helpfull. Even the consultants lend their precious time to us. We're so lucky to be given a chance to stay one whole day, observing in the ICL ( Cath Lab) doing procedures like angiogram and such. whatmore seeing a contracting heart with pericarditis during a CABG operation ( by pass).
All in all, i think i am lucky this time.
and i wonder why some people tend to skip their practicals session. all you need to do is ASK, be nice and polite and of course, showing some interest.

By this time, i can see my future as an anesthesiologist specializing in cardiac surgery.

a cardiac team

Time flies and its been a week since i started my attachment with IJN ( Msian Heart Institute). Though i can say that even the ED is not fully pack with cases at all times, i do learn a lot. From ECG to various drugs, even to the defibrillator machine ( the latest one is a hand-free defib, mind you).
I honestly think that the idea of doing full elective training in Russia ( as proposed by the MMC) is rubbish.
I might be too young to tell but as for now, i can say that we, the soon-to-grad doctors need more exposure to the Msian medical services. even the abbreviation is giving me a headache. like PCI???-percutaneous cardiac intervention!

I am scheduled to follow a cardiac anest starting Monday. I for now starting to feel that that is going to be my sort of future. thats it, a cardiac anest!:)

As for today, i managed to see few cases, patient with chest pain requiring PCI. We were invited by the cardiologist to follow the procedure but something came up, so we missed it. I got back home at 7pm, after a few other MI cases and is now tired flat.
This is not even the beginning, nana!

so many updates!

I love Malaysia for its food! hence all the dining out. Let me be sincere here, i've gained 2 kg ever since i got back. wee bit crazy but all i want is to eat and enjoy:)

I am now doing my attachment in IJN for 2 weeks. Apart from the 8am-4.30pm routine, me and my friends ( Maalini kiran and tiraj) has been going around town, for lunch practically everyday.
From Cosy Corner in great eastern mall to Nikko hotel for a lunch buffet.
Yummilicious.:) Just that im just too lazy to snap any pics.

I am scheduled to go for a hair treatment and rebonding session in Nikko the following Monday. Can't wait to pamper myself after so long not doing so. I might wanna go and try out some spa too.hehe:)

Went out to meet my childhood besties later at night. I just love spending some quality time with my family and friends. and i honestly think that people who tend to forget friends are weird and hopeless people. * Ani and Fifie...i love you to bits, married friends!:)*

Last but not least, i have some serious shopping to do. Can anyone tell me any authorized dealer for Blackberry??

till then.xoxo.
