If you know what i mean!
Hello everyone.
It's been a while since my last post. Nothing special been going on lately. Just the same 'ol routine, like any other days. Had my Opthalmology exam yesterday and it went quite well, alhamdulillah. Honestly i was scared shit since i have no interest in it. It was a week of misery, pushing myself to even start revising! It was paid off finally and i am glad that its over. Opthalmology is OVER.
Now, another boring rotation, Epidemiology. I dont think i will ever get the point of why medical students are attending this lesson. It is a waste of time. Might as well spare me the time, so that i can do my practicals in the hospital. Which i think is a bit more logical. Why can't they just leave it to the WHO to deal with epidemiology of something something??pfft.
and guess what is our topic for tmrw??--> 'Types of chemical disinfactant'. !! ( Clorox la, what else. takkan kasik orange juice??)
We had a Q&A session with the lecturer today..so here's one funny part:
Lect: ''Imagine...if you were to invent a chemical disinfactant, what are the criterias that you're looking for?''
******silence*****
Hafiz: ''I want one with a pleasant smell...not smelly.''
Me: ''HA HA HA! Gotcha!''

if only...
if only miracles happen. You know, like getting excellent results for all exams ( with effort spend on it), to have every single thing in life, having a frog prince who's actually living in a palace, having all the latest designers handbags & shoes in hand..etc etc.
and that include a harmony living environment and a pleasant smell.

cat..Vomit???
ohhh..look at her. such a darling!:)This kid is so into abg zaid ( who'd spoilt her to the max!), that she keeps on meow-ing, hoping for him to come, by sitting right on top of our TV shelf just by the door.
;(..and i keep on telling her,''don't worry Luvie..you'll be in Malaysia this coming summer!''
Maybe she got the meaning right. Then there she is, straight away to bed ( and thats MY bed!).
Being my cat, she is so much like me. Vain, sensitive and thumbs up tidy. You can see her scratching the place mat (where her meals are placed) right after she had a bite, and even try to tidy up her poo-poo place. She is so special that she even puke whenever she smells something is not right, smelly or whatever that is not right for the environment. Normal environtment so to say. So it is true that cats have much sensitive smelling senses than us human??
Can you tell me how to tell Luvie not to smell so hard, then?? It is such a pity you know, seeing her miserably vomiting (unnecessarily).

I am no fan of H&M. I actually can't picture anything appropriate for me to buy there. I don't know if its just me but maybe the last H&M store i went to ( in Rome) was a bit lousy. or maybe its the store itself. okay, i dont know.
but.....
starting 14 Nov 2009-> Jimmy Choo for H&M.
Oh well...well..well...maybe to H&M after all:)

To quote from a friend, Farid, " buat kawan mmg senang, tapi kawan yg betul2 kawan tu yg susah dapat.''
Experienced,i can actually named my true friends here in just a single breath.
so you judge, whether my life here sucks or not.
but no matter what, i shall live, make do with what i have, cherish those true friends and be happy always!:)

more on smokie
It was funny when 2 of their members actually realized that we are NOT locals ( read: Russians). They were saying things, conversing with the audience when only few people answered.Mostly they went on saying '' yes..yes...yes'' only. hahaha. SO there was me, shouting out loud replying to what they were saying/asking..and tada! and because of that, they came to us, asking to sing along!!:)
Its like a dream come true, seeing them performing live! Wether i am going or not if they do any live concert in Malaysia..the answer is YES. You'll see me and my dad sitting at the very front row...haha.

a night to remember!
Definitely a night to remember!!! Smokie ohh!! Thank you for the awesome concert!! All five members performed extremely well. You must be wondering, why am i so excited about this 70's band, dont you?Well..thats just because i've been listening to their songs ever since i am 7!!!( thank you DAD!)
Among my favourites are: Mexican Girl ( which in the end, they changed it to My Soviet Girl!),
Needles & Pins, I'll meet you at midnight, For a few dollars more...and of course my No 1 Hit: Living next door to Alice!
So guys, have them in your playlist now!:)
One thing about Russians that i like is that the people here is more out going and definitely no-no in to being shy. Even at late 50's, they danced well throughout the concert. It was a good experience coz i'm sure one can hardly see our Malays women , at late 50's dancing ( what more with a hijab on!) at live concert like this. hahaha! Okay maybe those pocho-pocho @ weddings are a bit of an exception:)
Blogger is now acting stupid. Or is it my internet connection. Shall add on more pictures later. As for the mean time, enjoy:)
4 Nov and it's a public holiday!
It's a public holiday today and i am going for the Smokie live concert in the evening! Weee...!
A little breakaway from the hectic schedules that i've had ever since i got back from Malaysia in September. As said, learning process is a hard thing. Only lousy people think it's easy peasy.
So whenever people mentioned about Russian graduates are incompetent, it only refers to some of the graduates/students, and that includes the ones with a great past time glory ( read: the Gov sponsored). It's a fact.pronto.
SInce it is a one-day weekend, we had a group pot-luck dinner yesterday. Upon request, i had to prepare a wok full of char kuey teow. It turned out quite okay anyways. As for the others, they prepared nasi lemak with GOOD SAMBAL ( Lynn2..your sambal is the best! ok, and she's Chinese!!) and 7t for (again) a mamak-styled egg sambal ( kan i told you i like mamakness!). Hafiz made a sophisticated banana dessert which happened to be something like a westernized Pengat Pisang ( hahaha!!) but it tasted good as well.
Good food is for group D for good mental development! hahaha.
and tomorrow, 5th Nov 2009, to all Nizhnians fellow..you're cordially invited for a card member day in IledeBeauty @ Pakroivskaya. 25% on all (each) items! To anyone of you who's interested to go but have not the club card, please text me so that i can lend you my card. Juniors/seniors are most welcomed.
till then, happy holidays dear Nizhians:)
