While most of the make up experts seems to enjoy 'painting' my EXTRA large dark brown eyes
( amoi...you punya mata banyak cantik lo...very big..accentuate the color perfectly etc etc), i myself find it hard to D.I.Y-ing ( if there is such word, excuse me;p)them. Will ended up looking like a hungry panda, aiming for its next victim!
So basically, my point of concerns are:
- how should i apply my eyeliner ( top & below) and not looking like having extra eyelids?
- brown eyeliner will cause less panda looking, am i right?
- Mascara wise, any differences based on the brush shape?i've seen Lancome mascaras with weird looking brush. I honestly can't afford to volumized my lashes in any case!
- Applying liquid eyeliner in my case, will the technique be the same? or should i do some adjustment?
Well, suggestions and advices are seriously needed. Comments/FB inbox or email are most welcome.
Thank you in advance!

ileena :) I not a pro in this area, but I'll share with you the one I know tau :D
1) Prepare you face - mosturize then put foundation. If not just dab the powders should be fine. Applying this will make your face look better.
2) Applying base for your eyes. Just a few dabs of concealer should be fine to prevent the eyeliner/eyeshadow to smudge.
3) Applying eyeliner is actually easy. Hold just outside of your lid, then line it from in to out. Then make the lines a bit thicker on the outer lid to stand it out. One of my rule on making my eyes look natural, just smudge a little bit on the outer lid. Don't afraid to smudge it out. You'll actually look pretty and far away from looking like a panda :D As for the lower lid, i'll always apply it halfway and out of the lid. This is bcos I love to touch my inner corner of the eye, so nanti dia smudge pulak :)
4) Go ahead and try the earth-tone eyeshadow like bronze, brown on top of the lid. Just make 3 separate dabs on the eyelid, then even it out with your finger (like from in and out). Asian eyes look much better if you apply darker eyeshadow from in then work your way up in a gradient that ends with the highlight color just under your brows..
5) Applying liquid eyeliner is my favourite thing since it will give that intense look on you. The difference is that be brave to apply it on outside of your lid even more. Macam buat ekor tu kan :D. Apply on the middle of the eye first then gradually increasing the thickness. Then baru apply from the inner to the middle eye area.
Banyak pula I cakap. But worth checking out :) I love Michelle Phan's tutorials on youtube. Senang nak faham :)

thanks aida dearest!will gv it a try soonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!:)xxx
For me, usually I invest on a really good eyeliner pencil. Better brands smudge less (I know, HATE the raccoon eyes!) and they stay on longer. Also, make sure the area around the eyes are not oily so dab on lots of powder above and below the eye on top of your base or concealer (applies to me too coz sometimes my skin is pretty oily).
The liquid eyeliner that Aida mentioned above is also good. They do not smudge at all! But I only know how to apply it on my upper lid. Hehe. They have it in many colors too, like Elianto in Malaysia, they can come in black, sparkly black, sparkly blue etc.
Brands like Maybelline and Revlon have this pen-eyeliner which comes in like a felt-tip pen instead of the difficult-to-control liquid n brush eyeliner. I use this if I'm in a hurry! And it's easy to practice and try different styles using this one.
Apply eyeliner VERY close to your original lash line. Don't leave any gaps.
Brown eyeliner is gorgeous! Panda eyes will be less obvious, but they can still smudge. Again, a good brand will be helpful :).
aziah rani, thanks dearest!i got to print this up and stick it on the wall.for easy ref.haha!
