one after another!coffee maker to boiler.what's next?the hostel elevator??

I've been on a mood swing for the past few days. With only 1 rotation left for this semester (which is Cardio Surgery), i am now trying hard to concentrate on my 2 coming papers, infectious disease and the scariest among all, internal medicine. Study was going on quite okay apart from having this malaise and weakness feelings whenever i had a glance of my bed (which is so next to my study table.pfft!)

I don't remember mentioning it here, that my coffee maker was stolen. It went missing for about a month, and i couldn't even be bothered. I was hoping for someone to return it back to me but to no avail. Not to have any bad impression to anybody so i decided to keep quiet.

Well, to cut things short, i'll leave this coffee maker story for you to find out and not for me to tell.

Since our hot water has been turned off due to some maintenance thing going on, a kettle is what we need at this time of the year ( to bath OMG!the water is ice cold). I think you can guess it right, Aisyah's (my junior room mate)one went missing out of sudden!

My question is...is there anybody with an access to my room without me knowing??

Like i said..i am tired of having bad impressions to other people...but please grow up!

Such a disturbing matter, i am thinking of bringing it up to the higher authority.

Crucial time of the year..

Yes, its time again! Exams are coming up!Had my exams gear adjusted for quite sometime already, but just so you know, it come and go really fast.haha!

My stress medicine! So far there're the best cookies in town! To those people in the UK, i know you guys have Millie's and such..pfft! I'm missing those M&S cookies i brought home from Prague during my winter hols. Too bad they don't have them here but anyways..i'll just make do with what we have here. Again friends..hit to the nearest Eurospar to get those cookies! Yummylicious!!

On a different note, i had my second last visit to the dentist today.

As you can see, i'm scheduled to be wearing that stupid additional latex thing for 1 month. Nightmare!!!Let's just hope that i'll enjoy this last 1 month with my braces on. Oh well, no pain no gain!

A day trip to Vladimir, Gus Krustalni.

A city on its own, Vladimir is only 3 hours drive from Nizhny Novgorod. Famous for its crystal town and of course the main purpose was to do some sneak-peak-shopping.

We didn't actually went straight to the factory, instead we were brought to a place, like a market place so to say, where they have shops selling crystal straight from the factory.

oh yes,the town is known as Gus Krustalni. You can search in the internet for more updates.

Okay mom, look at the chandeliers!! You see, i actually feel like vomiting with some lampu in it after seeing all these!hahaha. Yes i know, we're coming again next year. i know..i know.

One thing for sure, you have to have your cash with you. They (surprisingly) do not accept credit card. I, on the other hand, was not really into buying anything. Not until i received THE order from mom/dad. Truelly, i came back with 2 baby chandeliers and some other stuff.

Right after 3 solid hours of shopping, we went straight to the city center,about an hour drive for Gus Krustalni. Visited the Assumption Cathederal, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Such a wonderful but rather small city. And of course, very clean with nice views. We even had our picnic lunch on the grass ( and thats very unusual thing to do in Russia due to its 6 month winter season!).

1. I pretty much love to admit about my beauty (if there's any!). siapa lagi mahu puji anda kalau bukan diri sendiri.hahaha! Me and my sister both have the trait although mom keep on labelling us as -'' perasan nya Ya Allah!''
2. When i was a kid, i could not get the fact straight, why women love handbags and shoes. Why do they need lots of them with many different colours, let alone the matching ones ( blue handbag with blue shoes..etc). Developed mine pretty fast though,around 13-14 years of age.
3. I started to wear make up more often since the last 2 years ( as long as i remember). Started with only a Chanel Makeup Pallete, i have now more than 4 eyeliners, 3 mascaras and few others. I personally think that that is an achievement!
4. I used to love bitting my nails. Was such a horrible habit that i (finally) managed to get rid of it.and that is after i had my braces fixed!
5. Thinks that music score is an art, rather than an abstract painting. How do you get to interpret drops of colors on those white canvas??
6. I love looking at ladies with Chanel tote, Jimmy Choo heels and equivalent. They somehow appear really HOT, stunning and gorgeous.
7. Love to make friends with people, not a picky but a little bit tricky. I hate you when i hate you and there's always no turning back. A pain that is quite easy to be pleased.

you wanna stay at home all the time?

i was busy in the kitchen yesterday preparing dinner..just a simple one- cashew nuts chicken with lots of veges stuffed together. i was too lazy to prepare another dish...hence the combination. Somehow, it made me think..will i ever have the time to be doing all the chores/cooking later on? H.O..M.O? you must be kidding, no?

As a student living abroad (Russia, to top up on that),you can actually imagine the life that we're going through each day. From classes to groceries shopping up to cooking and cleaning..we're to do ALL of them by ourselves. maybe it is a bonus for those lazy bumps whose living on other people's effort ( cleaning for them...cooking for them..etc etc).As for me ( known for a clean freak, whatever you wanna call me), i prefer to do all that by myself. at least satisfaction is a guarantee, don't you think?All the credits and mistakes are to be self-blamed!

Mom is a GP herself and she's a super woman. She does the cooking everyday, although we have our helpers at home,which usually do the cleaning etc. Working hours is pretty hectic for a doctor esp in Malaysia, but once a woman, forever will be. You just can't stop for doing all the necessary.

Back to where i am, i accidently cut my little finger with one superbly sharp stupid IKEA knife. Being alone in the kitchen, i got a bit messed up as the cut was quite deep with such a throbbing pain. At that time, i still have one full chicken to be cut into parts for easier storage. Not only that, the guy who'd supposed to be delivering our drinking water 2 days ago, came at that very moment.

It made me realised ( finally!) that being a housewife/stay at home woman is not as easy as we think it is! At least i am sure that i am not fit for that position! ha ha.

Russia's Victory Day and some strawberries.

9th of May 2010, marks the 65 years of capitulation of the Nazi's to the Soviet Union during the second world war. This is my first time, witnessing a parade in this federation. Was amazed looking at the real tanks *omagod!*. I was in fact being in sort of a patriotic mood that day, kept on thinking about how great the warriors are. How they suffered and their willingness to serve for the nation.I was quite worried about us being the only few foreigners seen around the square. It was indeed being under a very tight security and all. Imagine that ALL of us ( everybody, including the locals!) had to go thru that security check before we're allowed in! Alhamdulillah everything went of smoothly for us:).

It is time for some strawberries feast! for only 160rb ( approximately MYR 17), one can get a KILO of this delicious fruit. Besides having them fresh or with some fresh cream/ dipped in chocolate, i had them on my cupcakes:).

To Geena dearest...i can make nice cupcakes! bluek.hahahahaha.

weekend chilling and more bbq!

1. i was planning on having my infectious exam on coming 14th . somehow the annoying dean just had to say no..although the professor agreed on that earlier on. was quite dissapointed by that since i've been working my ass off for the past weeks!pffft.

2. i wanted to join some of my friends to Moscow for the weekend, since we're be having a day off on Monday ( Russia's Victory Day)...but my father had to say no to that. another pffftt.

One more NO from anybody in the nearest time..siap laaaaa!

3. Not going to have a dull weekend, we decided to have a small bbq picnic in the park!:). You gotta find your own fun!

summer steak house

Another public holiday today. If only every weekend is a 3 day thing..don't you think the earth will be a happier place than it already is?hehe.

Weekends filled with drama, revisions, infectious disease text and not to forget..good food! Had my Sunday night occupied with a late night dinner followed by a movie-Shrek 3.

Woke up late at noon today and tadaaa....a heart shaped pancake.Served with honey and strawberry jam ( but Farid had it with Kimball chili sauce!).

Hit the park around 5-ish...for a salmon steak! Yes..its summer now...hence the summer steak house!:)

Specially dedicated to Zorrokantoi....i know you love this. You shall have this next year during my graduation visit!

We went on for some rides as well!

Last but not least, a strawberry-banana mixed cotton candy! I love it!

ermmmm..do i look like a 24 year old kid? LOL:p

pretty much nothing.

1. life has been good so far. classes are good..weather has been great these few days. Had good food, good sleep..almost perfect.;)
2. ''tatkala kawan menjadi lawan''- is our Malaysian famous quote which i have come to realize about it being so true. this one lucky bitch should be so thankful coz she's got her hair all intact to her scalp still by now.
3. i love peace and i am enjoying it to the max. :)
