Voila!At last, i made a tiramisu from scratch for Farid's 26th birthday! Couldn't find the time to go searching for ladyfingers, i ended up baking one usual sponge cake as to substitute the biscuits part. Only to know that the sponge cake recipe has got to be done in a angel food cake pan (luckily i have one which comes together with the normal cake pan)!
Created the recipe (partially) by myself, i cut the cake into slices and arranged it accordingly on a casserole, press it on so that all layers are even and brush with some coffee & chocolate essence before pouring in the cream cheese mixed. Re frigate for a night and the tiramisu is done!
