I've been neglecting this space of mine with few more must-have entries esp those as point-of-reference. Been busy attending weddings and Raya open houses ( where good foods are the main concern :P) all this while. Few more coming up , in fact!

Congratulations to my dear friends, entering the new phase of life.

another family celebration

To begin with, Fatimah Azman is one of my best-best (to show how important this is!) friend from my Uni days, and to make it extra special, we're related in a way that her uncle happened to be married to my mom's cousin. Relatively, we're cousins too! hehe.

Timmy on her wedding day, absolutely stunning and adorable!
The most relax and absolutely compose bride. I've not seen one before so big clap to cousy dearest..:)

To the groom, Muzammil ( also my uni mate and have been teasing with the title cousy-to-be for quite sometime already :p), congratulations to you for being united with my little cousy, your all time sweetheart.Happy wedded life to both of you! I'll be seeing you more often after this Muzammil on our family occasions i supposed hehehe. p/s: gambate for HOship as well but you've less worry since Dr Fatimah will be a good mentor to you :P

Again, Congratulations to both of you, cousins!

Us, the Nizhny clan, the bride & groom and our childhood bff,Hani Nadhirah.

Raya and Baju Kurung

All in all, its pretty much the same Aidilfitri this time around, as compared to my last one here in Msia 6 years ago. One thing for sure, no instant ketupat, no packet Brahim's rendang, no Adabi's lemang! All came out fresh, home-cooked...! You must've been wondering the amount of weight i've gained up during the celebration i'm sure..well, i have no idea bcoz i'm practically making room for those that i've missed for years :P

Our theme color for the year was supposed to be Green ( dad's veto-ed here!) but he ended not wearing his,for some reason.pffft. It was my first time in a Riau-cut kurung and i love it!
Well perhaps it made me look less fat and more *cough* proportionate. "__". Not that i have a decent pic of me wearing it in here, but here's an idea..

*pic from google*

Well to those who've been trying to go different with your kurung, try baju kurung Riau. It's worth a try and comfy too! Of course, my usual favorite is the typical kurung modern in which i had it done with a Japanese cotton fabric brought to me all the way from Japan.

p/s: go and have a look on her sewing hobby cum business!

Well, drop me a line if you have nicer kurung ideas, since working days are about to start..and that most of my friends prefer cotton kurung for work. senang nak lipat2 the sleeves and more carefree i supposed.
Last but not least, enjoy the remaining Raya celebration and err..i'm up for open house invitations!hehehe "___"
