It seems that i have such a merrier life in Malaysia as compared to here. and for the fact that i'm loosing my bestest friend here in a few days time ( he's heading back home for good)..i wonder what it'll be like later.

Thank you Air Asia..i now have a confirm ticket to Jakarta on July 16-18, 2010. Well...summer breakaway for only MYR 25!!!

Air Asia is being generous again and this is my first time flying with AA to Indonesia. Just in time for my graduation dress shopping. A Biyan kebaya would be NICE.;-)

Oh yea..and my winter trip is also confirmed. haha. so many holidays.

More pictures of yesterday's concert. To top up to the excitement, i managed to shake hands with all 5 of them!!! It's a good thing bcoz the concert was actually held inside a CIRCUS building which is quite small. Good thing too, i was sitted quite on the front row;)

It was funny when 2 of their members actually realized that we are NOT locals ( read: Russians). They were saying things,conversing with the audience when only few people answered.Mostly they went on saying '' yes..yes...yes'' only. hahaha. SO there was me, shouting out loud replying to what they were saying/asking..and tada! and because of that, they came to us, asking to sing along!!:)

Its like a dream come true, seeing them performing live! Wether i am going or not if they do any live concert in Malaysia..the answer is YES. You'll see me and my dad sitting at the very front row...haha.

Definitely a night to remember!!! Smokie ohh!! Thank you for the awesome concert!! All five members performed extremely well. You must be wondering, why am i so excited about this 70's band, dont you?Well..thats just because i've been listening to their songs ever since i am 7!!!( thank you DAD!)

They had all my favourite songs lined up tonight and i am so extremely super duper happy ( looked like as if im on a dance floor or something ;p).

Among my favourites are: Mexican Girl ( which in the end, they changed it to My Soviet Girl!),

Needles & Pins, I'll meet you at midnight, For a few dollars more...and of course my No 1 Hit: Living next door to Alice!

So guys, have them in your playlist now!:)

One thing about Russians that i like is that the people here is more out going and definitely no-no in to being shy. Even at late 50's, they danced well throughout the concert. It was a good experience coz i'm sure one can hardly see our Malays women , at late 50's dancing ( what more with a hijab on!) at live concert like this. hahaha! Okay maybe those pocho-pocho @ weddings are a bit of an exception:)

It's a public holiday today and i am going for the Smokie live concert in the evening! Weee...!
A little breakaway from the hectic schedules that i've had ever since i got back from Malaysia in September. As said, learning process is a hard thing. Only lousy people think it's easy peasy.
So whenever people mentioned about Russian graduates are incompetent, it only refers to some of the graduates/students, and that includes the ones with a great past time glory ( read: the Gov sponsored). It's a fact.pronto.

SInce it is a one-day weekend, we had a group pot-luck dinner yesterday. Upon request, i had to prepare a wok full of char kuey teow. It turned out quite okay anyways. As for the others, they prepared nasi lemak with GOOD SAMBAL ( Lynn2..your sambal is the best! ok, and she's Chinese!!) and 7t for (again) a mamak-styled egg sambal ( kan i told you i like mamakness!). Hafiz made a sophisticated banana dessert which happened to be something like a westernized Pengat Pisang ( hahaha!!) but it tasted good as well.
Good food is for group D for good mental development! hahaha.

Its snowing cats and dogs now. -3 degree on average. Since it is Sunday today ( and knowing that i've less readings to do prior to psychiatry posting..haha!)..i went strolling on the high street.

No..no there're no sales going on n( haha!). All i had was a glass of Latte.

First of all..i have to say that i don't really favor our Psychiatry posting now. The lecturer himself was nice..and very funny as well. But you now how psyche patients are, dont you? I had this very weird palpitation kinda-feeling during our first ward 'excursion' today.

It was only at the end of our lesson when the lecturer decided to take us for a tour in the ward. Had my mom telling me her experiences during her med school days, thus made me scared! Not having any other option, i followed my classmates all, with the lecturer ( Of course!!)..into the ward. And my first glance dropped on this one mid-aged lady...glaring and smiling at me!!!

*shit...shit*

It was a mixed emotion thing-scared and at the same time i do have some bit of pity to those patients. Especially the older ones. Instead of being at home,surround by loving family members..she's there with many others maniac, spending her life.

Oh yeah...we started off with only 7 of us ( plus the teacher) , and ended up with 5 more tagging behind us!

Since it is a friday evening ( ohhh i loveeeeeeee friday evening!time to relax..chilling here and there)...i made this favorite malay kuih of mine, called Seri Muka. Was running out of glutinous rice here, i ended up using our sushi rice!hahahaha. Somehow it turned out quite good. Satisfaction.

and now...its time for a nice dinner outside. Weekendlicious!!:)

The classic sign of winter is back in Nizhny. Yes..its snowing today! And i love it love it (though its a bit wet & dirty outside).

Life has been going on quite good lately. I've finished with my Medicine rotation ( part 1) and now currently undergoing Psychiatry rotation. I am scared to attend to the patients in the hospital, though i've encountered with some of the undiagnosed ones here ( you get what i mean).

Again..life is good without any pest around. and i hope this will remain. I'll be more than happy to make ones life difficult whenever they make mine difficult.

Well....the weekend is about to be here in few hours time, so i shall not ruin my mood for the day:)

We had lotsa fun @ the annual Diwali party organized by our Malaysian Indian Society here. Oh forgot to tell that one of my bestest buddy is the Mr President ( Kiran Sharma)..ngehehes. The performances were awesome...and i like it when that Kiran danced that 'Banggra' thing...just like how he wanted his child to born with. haha!

How nice! I woke up in the morning bcoz of that beepp..beepp noise- an sms from my mom...

all the way from Ri-yaz Kuala Terengganu. Another attempt to make me jealous.

Had fun with 7t's Deepavali brunch. My indian friends here can really make my dream come true: Open a Pelita Nasi Kandar here in Nizhny!

It was a gloomy day, but i could not let the saturday ( that i've been waiting for since monday!ha ha) passed by just like that, you see. An hour later, i was already in Real's Ile de beaute...enjoying my 25%-off-any item- member of the day!Had my clinique products stocked up, some hair products and a wild rose lip butter from www.korres.com ( which i think is going to be my favorite lip butter apart from l'occitane cherry blossom). Lastly, a FREE gift from them, Lancome miniature EDP -Hypnose Senses ( the smell is goooddd! somewhat strong ones like those from Chanel).

and now, its time for dinner! will rock the kitchen with (my first trial) pandan-flavored chicken!

I was on my way back from visiting my friend, Iryani yesterday when we decided to hop on the bus, straight to Mcdonald, for just a quick coffee.
One large fries, the standard potato wedges plus a cup of latte, all for the 3 of us.

Few minutes later, there was this one boy, aged around 10 came to us asking, '' can i have a bit of your fries?''
Within a blink, we handed him the fries and off he went to his brother who was waiting for him nearby the restroom.

I have never encountered this kind of situation before, and i feel really sorry for the kids. I wonder how'd it feel like, having to ask others.to beg, in other words.

Being me, i called zaid to go and hand them some cash. Not much but sufficient enough to make them have a taste of a chicken burger each:). Both of them were really happy, which made me happier. For the fact that life is not easy to some people, why not lend them a helping hand sometimes?after all, its not going to make you poorer by a single cents.

i know it is very bad to degrade people but sometimes i think that it might come in handy. I am not sure how he's upbringing is, but i think its an autoimmune thing, you see. self -developed. and i feel so sorry for the poor parents.again, upbringing is very important!
This is so sick especially when some one is acting superior when he's not even at par.

I am having my Pediatric rotation now and so far everything is going just as fine. Been quite busy lately with revisions, whatmore with the gloomy weather. Rain..then it stops.then rain again.and the wind chill..*pull the duvets..pull!*

I am very much annoyed with certain subjects at the very moment. If only whacking people is legal. I used to be such a person with less patience & short tempered. Maybe its the aging thing you know, i am now way relax and can actually breath calmly even though there is sign of distress! but again..you never know.There's always a limit to a barrier!

Its October now, thus the time to start planning for our winter vacation.Can't wait..can't wait. Dear mother, i shall now remind you that you'll be in a winter zone soon!hehe. ( my mom is not a fan of cold windy winter-like weather, although she keeps on saying, ''eee..Malaysia ni panasnya!" )

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....i had my (postponed) Medicine paper done today. It went well alhamdulillah. i was panicking ...those pre-exam symptoms seems to be popping out earlier than usual..*you have no idea*

1. was a given a patient with myocardial infarction with a touch of heart failure. the practical part was smooth sailing, with me being asked only to auscultate the lung.haha!that was a bonus.

2. aortic stenosis and non-surgical treatment of cholecystitis. i have to admit that i sort of spent quite sometime, trying to make this heart-murmur things easier for me to understand. the mechanism and all. and again...bonus point.

3. sanatorium type and advantages, comes under the topic of physiotherapy was my last theoretical question. i just had to say no to this rubbish question.who cares anyways.at least i dont!

and now is the time for winter hols planning. ;)

Eastern Europe comes with the package: wonderful sightseeing and...(another Big Bonus here)..for a shopaholic. ;)

Again, Happy Eid everyone. How was your raya celebration? to those of you in Msia..im sure you're fit enough to live without food for a week starting from now...!:p

Our raya celebration for today was just as lively as the previous years. Food and food and asking for forgiveness ..and again food. Our PM must be very happy to see that we Msians here are all an item a.k.a "1Malaysia" when it comes to Hari Raya celebration!

and who says there's no rendang in Nizhny??hehehe..Abang Zaid's rendang is the best in town okay!unless you can prove it otherwise. We had ( as usual) friends coming over to our petit place here...where we had Nasi Tomato, lodeh & nasi himpit along with ayam masak merah, kuah kacang and some instant lemang we brought from home. It does sound like raya to you too, right?oh well..i hope so.

Maybe i was too busy eating and being with my friends till i didn't manage to snap more pictures. Oh well..its only the beginning of Syawal.29 more days to go..!:)

It is not easy when you have to deal with an exam..a week prior to Hari Raya. To make it worst, i am having my TB exam! and i know for sure that my skills in interpreting the xray films are..oh well...bad.very bad!

today is saturday.no cls.finally the weekend is here.hooray!( though i have few exams in this month alone.pfft)

Both my roomates are gone.one to moscow and another acting busy with some friends.its been more than 36 hours since i am all alone in the room.oh..i forgot my luvie.right.just the 2 of us.

I wasn't really sure why but i've missed hy sahur meal yesterday.and i'm all hungry today.lucky for it was a no-school day.and our ramadhan here is from 0400-1930.u do the math alright.

back at home,mama was complaining to me about having to entertain my younger sister,gena.since abah is still in makkah, mama is the one taking care of the house. i am sure everything is under control since my mother is a 'mariah carey' when it comes to high-pitch shouting.haha! and just now, she was telling me about my sister insisted on a Lewre Couture for her raya shoes!!and she's only freaking 15! asked her what she wants IF she gets her 8AS in PMR..her answer was-->"Oh.. Jimmy Choo yeah!"
Oh well..sisters are sister in any ways:)

hey there everyone!finally i've some space to do a little bit of updating in here.

1. My internal medicine paper will be postponed *again* to the 30th of september 09. meaning to say that i've plenty of time to do my reading. This is a no joke subject alright. though it might be to some others *eyebrow lifting*

2. My jet lag is kinda under control now.sort of.or maybe it is not a jet lag after all ( its been more than a week since i left Msia, OMG). Perhaps it might be due to this Ramadhan-fasting-hypogylcemic-state.

3. Received a call from my father who's currently performing his Ramadhan umrah. I hope that he's doing alright there, though he did mentioned about the weather there is hot and not like the previous years. Seems that he's wishing to spend some time during the winter.Will be heading together to eastern europe trip during my winter school break, insyaallah. * beating eyelashes*

4. 090909- Happy birthday to this hot mommy! have a wonderful life ahead sister!:)

Lastly, i feel lonely and im starting to miss my little-brat younger sister.i've no one to bully in here!
